An excellent piano book January 3, 2009 Ian Rodrigo Morales Lara As a piano's student, I have found an excellent contents inside the book, not only covers the general history of the instrument, beside it includes a lot of exercises and a very accurate information. I must to say, its a very nice book.
Fun book! December 22, 2008 J. P. Mantilla (New York, NY) A fine book, well written and fun to read. The selection of music is quite diverse, which makes it very interesting for any beginner.
A Piano book for beginners and masters November 4, 2008 Kwong W. Lee (Houston, TX USA) I bought this book together with the Hanon 60 exercies again because my first one was lost. This two books are the MUST to all pianoist and keyboardist.
A Great Book! October 8, 2008 P. Rhode (portola, ca United States) The Piano Handbook is excellent. First, it's a hardcover book with a spiral-binding, making it perfect for the stand. The text is well laid out beginning with lots of great pics of ancient and historic pianos and their lineage into today's varieties. The pictures are superb and fascinating. It goes briefly into player history from classical to blues, a sincere show of appreciation for their character and contribution. Then the lessons begin and they are informative and wellplaced as far as its introduction of both theory and method. The book reminds me of hardbound college texts in its quality and informative teatise. And yet the price is not like that textbooks-it's very affordable. Bravo!
