LOVE IT!!! August 8, 2008 xpnsve (Southern, CA) I had been to the HG website about a dozen times, tried a few recipes and was very happy with the results, so I bought the book. I LOVE the book! So many wonderful recipes in there, which are truly handy if you are just tapped as far as low-fat/low-cal recipe ideas go. There really are just so many frozen Lean Cuisines you can eat before enough is enough! Great book, lots of great survival tips and I found it to be a very helpful tool in weight loss! There is hope for those of us who have run out of ideas!

yummy and low-fat,too!!! August 6, 2008 SLP (new lenox, IL) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book has easy to follow instructions, and lots of helpful hints for the preparation of the dishes. It was also easy to figure out the "points" of each dish, since the nutrition facts were printed out. This recipe book has a great variety of catagories and I recommend it to all, even those of you who don't really like to cook, like me!
Fun and informative! August 4, 2008 AbCam (Lakewood, WA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been on Weight Watchers for a few months now and I find the Hungry Girl book is invaluable for finding recipes that are WW friendly. I don't have to eat like "on a diet". She has recipes for every day fun foods that are low fat, low cal - like her Chicken Tenders or Onion Rings, salads, baked goods, soups. Every recipe is so easy and yummy! This isn't gourmet eating. It's what we really eat every day. Although this isn't really a Weight Watchers book, the author is a regular contributor to their web site and the points values for all the recipes in the book can be found on the Hungry Girl web site. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is trying to cut calories and fat and I hope another book will follow soon! And don't miss all the tips for travelling by plane or car, tips for eating in restaurants, snack tips, etc. Great book!
Hungry Girl: Recipes and Survival Strategies for Guilt-Free Eating in the Real World August 3, 2008 Erdmann H. Rogge (San Francisco, CA) It's a sassy book, with good everyday tips. It gives a good alternative to certain products you might generally use in your cuisine. Dramatizes a bit the calories cotained in every day foods.
