A little to "flowery" for me August 31, 2008 Jade Wisdom (AZ, USA) I've been using Bach flower essences in my therapeutic massage practice for over 20 years with amazing results! The information presented in this book is of benefit for anyone interested in massage and acupressure. The pictures are beautifully done, and the explanations of point locations easy to follow. But I found the writing of the main text to be too "flowery" at times (yes, I know that's a pun...) - just too esoteric. It may turn off readers who are new to the subject and not into new-age lingo. But useful otherwise.
Floral Acupuncture: Applying The Flower Essences Of Dr. Bach To Accupuncture Sites April 23, 2008 L. Shouse (Alpharetta, GA) This book is exactly what I was looking for. I like it so much that I am taking the course to learn how to apply the the tecnique to myself and others. I highly reccommend it to those who are exploring alternative medical practices.
A perfect marrige betewn Acupuncture and Bach Flower Remedies. May 22, 2007 Alberto Gauthereau (Monterrey, Mexico.) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
Every one with know how on Acupuncture and Bach Flower Remedies can use and take advantage of this book, with patience. The work of art is very good, but the book lacks of more trial cases to support their findings, and to have more credibility in the community. But what it matters is results I will keep on using it, to support my acupuncture practice. This new therapy is promising treating children an the elderly.
Floral Acupuncture: Applying The Flower Essences Of Dr. Bach To Accupuncture Sites February 24, 2007 Ariel, herbalist (Oregon, formerly in Midwest) I love this book, which is a reflection of the voice in which it was written.
The book has an aesthetic sensibility which supports its heartful message. The information is succint and with depth. It may not be the only book a person would use as a reference for flower essences, as it is aimed primarily to linking the flower with the specific meridian site. Yet, I can see that it may be a nice book to begin with also.
I really appreciate the photos of the point locations. They are not the usual dry diagrams normally encountered. A nice addition to an already established library of knowledge.
It's been helpful in my own journey and personal research with flower essences. Thank you for writing it and crafting its presentation.
One of the other reviewers commented on the limitations of the science behind the research. I see this book as a very useful addition to a skilled practitioner's library or worthy of exploration for personal use. After all, what people really want is results. I've been using plant extracts topically for years and this is a nice light to understanding my own experiences.

More Than a Jolly Good Read November 6, 2006 D. C. Moll (Santa Cruz, CA) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
As an acupuncturist I found this book to be a really lovely synergy between the Flower Essence indications and the properties of the Chinese Qi Meridians. The design of the book itself is beautiful; the little green corner at the top left of the cover is inspired. Although I enjoyed reading the book I was dubious about clinical applications, but have been more than pleasantly surprised. Using essences on the prescibed sites as an adjunct to needling has yeilded quite good results in some sticky cases. The method is also a wonderful and convenient way to work on oneself. I await Volume II.
