Quirky Characters, Ghosts, and Great Writing! July 25, 2003

The first book I read by this author was "Letter to Sergeant Gillian." I loved that so much, I bought this one. This book is just as good as "Sergeant Gillian," with great characters and you just get sucked up into the story. I found I couldn't put it down! A suggestion, however, is you have the chance to read this book as well as "Sergeant Gillian," you should read "Bob" first. Because I read "Sergeant Gillian" first, I was slightly disappointed with the ending of this book (albeit a rather creative one!). DON'T GET ME WRONG, THIS IS TRULY A GOOD BOOK AND IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I was totally engrossed in this charming, funny, poignant and gripping story that I got very little sleep! I literally could not put it down as I anxiously waited for events to unfold. It touched on all of my emotions. Jacqueline truly outdid herself with this book!
