My 15 month old daughter loves these little books. They are the perfect size for her little hands. They are small, but perfect for her to play with and look at on her own. Short sentences on each page. She also loves the cute pictures of the baby animals in each book. I would definitely recommend this set of little books.

We looked for quite a while to find these tiny board books. They're the perfect size for baby hands to hold (2 inches by 2 inches); there aren't very many published this small. They aren't the best-written board books, and they're only 4 pages long each. But, they get a high score from me because my son loves them. He has many regular-sized board books by established authors that are "good literature" for a baby. However, these are by far his current favorites, probably because of their appealing size. They even fit into the front pocket of his overalls! Just taking them out of the box, and putting them back in, keeps him occupied for a while. He gets them out every day, and begs us to read them to him again and again. (It's gotten to the point that my husband hides them after about 10 readings of the complete set in one day!) He bounces up and down with glee as soon as we start to read. The photos of baby animals delight him to no end. My one quibble with these is that they aren't as durable as his other board books. The paper covering the board pages is thin, and dissolves very quickly when he starts to chew on them. His other board books withstand normal nibbling much better. However, board books are somewhat ephemeral anyway, and for the price, I really can't complain too much.
