5 out of 5 stars Percy Jackson Boxed Set   July 24, 2010

This is a very attractive boxed set of the 5 Percy Jackson books. I imagine most people reading this will be aware of the stories - but just to say that these are the adventures of Percy as he battles with various mythological Greek gods and monsters. It has been likened to Harry Potter as most fantasies are but there are no real connections other than the genre.

After feasting on this 5 book set, some other stories to get stuck into are:

Godstone - The Kairos Boxes

100 Cupboards (100 Cupboards, Bk 1)

4 out of 5 stars The good and the bad.   July 17, 2010

The Percy Jackson books are wonderful. We bought the set to listen to on a cross country trip, it kept us all entertained from 31 to 3. My only complaint is the narrator, some of his voices are not that good, some are down right bad but the main characters are fine and he keeps a good pace to the story that keeps you wanting to know what will happen next.

4 out of 5 stars Good books   July 16, 2010

My box came completely bubble wrapped and everything but my "chest" was still a little damaged. It wasn't very noticeable though so I'm not gonna cry about it. It must be a problem with the warehouse or the boxes must be getting damaged before they get to Amazon. The books were great, very addicting. My fiance and I read them all very quickly. The reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because the writing style seemed a little immature to me. So that was kinda dissapointing. But the author has certainly does his research on greek mythology and they are very fun to read.

5 out of 5 stars Love the books   July 12, 2010
We, who have read the books, have really enjoyed the cleverness and fun of Rick Riordan's tale! Appreciated the prompt service of receiving the product very quickly.
