good complete text October 13, 2008 CRNA to be (Houston) Good detailed explanations. I wish there were more explanatory diagrams, tho. I will keep this text even after the class - good reference
Physio book October 11, 2008 Holly A. Tucker (Chesterfield, MO) The book is a good reference, have not actually used it too much for studying yet. Amazon completely let me down in shipping how ever, it took nearly 2 weeks to get the book, that was shipping from North St. Louis County to West County.
Medical physiology October 9, 2008 Abhijit Deb Roy (Storrs, CT, USA) The book is a nice introduction to the physiological systems in the human body, and gives a detailed description for a lot of physiological conditions pertaining to the different systems. It is very informative, and precise.
Extremely well written and very clear September 29, 2008 Derek A. Fedak (Boston College) If you need a thorough or even basic understanding of physiology, this book is great. It is extremely well written and 99% of it makes sense on the first read-through. My professor keeps saying how great this book, and i completely agree with her.
AMAZING June 27, 2008 Sahar Kohanim (Baltimore, MD USA) This book is simply amazing and the classic text on physiology. There were so many times in medical school and even now in residency when I was totally confused and clueless about some topic....when I used this book to read up on it, all the facts became crystal clear and easy to understand. Bottom line: GREAT book, highly recommend for med school and beyond!!!!
