Product Description
High school sweethearts
and nobody knew.
Ashleigh Pence had been the all-American high school girl: cheerleader, prom queen
and in love with another girl. Gina Granbury hasn’t thought about Calloway High in twenty years, but the arrival of the invitation to the class reunion brings back memories of Ashleigh and the betrayal that drove them apart.
With no real choice, Ashleigh has to go the event, hoping that it’s not the one reunion that Gina decides to attend after all these years. Gina had expected to dismiss the possibility as easily as she has during all the years since, but the curiosity is suddenly strong. Her long-broken heart has never mended, but that’s no reason to go back in time
is it?
Twenty years seem like yesterday in this latest passionate story from Golden Crown award winner Gerri Hill.

Classic Hill August 19, 2010 luvshoes I love Gerri Hill and have read all of her books. I enjoyed this one, albeit was predictable. I like Hill's work and was excited to see Pat and Carly re-emerg in this book. This is an enjoyable read. Yes, slow at times, but worth the effort. I liked both Gina and Ash, their characters were believeable, but it would have been nice to explore these two in their older years.
Great story August 15, 2010 Olga Silva (Miami, FL, US) I have always been a fan of Ms.Hill. Love prevails as shown on this latest book. Can't wait for the next one.
Good Entertainment August 2, 2010 Astrid (Frankfurt, Germany) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Ashleigh Pence and Gina Granburry have been high school sweethearts back in their youth, despite Ashleigh being the all-American high school girl (cheerleader, prom queen and so on). Unfortunately a betrayal drove them apart and they haven't been in touch ever since... until class reunion some twenty years or so later. And the attraction between them is still there when they meet.
I really enjoyed the story even though the ending of the book was a bit predictable (which romance isn't?). Gerri Hill is a gifted writer and Ashleigh and Gina are likeable heroines.
This isn't Gerri Hill's best book but it still is an overall enjoyable read, good for a few hours of entertainment.
