This is a great series! I have become totally immersed in this 8 book series which is well worth the price I paid. If you have seen the television show then you need to read these books, gives you some background to the characters and who they really are. Definitely worth looking into.

I had a hard time getting into the first two books. I was wondering what all the fuss was about but then Club Dead (book 3) had me hooked. I read through Dead in the Family and A Touch of Dead (the short story novel) with in two weeks. Can't wait for Book 11! In the meantime, I have been looking for another fantasy type series but haven't found anything nearly as addictive.

Short version: Great series, get them, read them, enjoy.
Long version: I wanted to start watching the True Blood show, and it is my standard to read any book that a movie or show is based off of, thus I purchased this set. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I am more than pleasantly pleased with what I found. I adore these books so far. I just started book #6 and the quality of writing and storyline has not declined in the slightest. The plot is just face paced enough to keep me interested but not be annoying or confusing, and her lore is mostly traditional but with a twist of flare. I have literally lost sleep because I just cannot put these books down. I'm already planning to re-read the series and I'm not even done yet.
